Delta flight 2261 from Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport to Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas stopped its takeoff Wednesday after a window opened in the cockpit.

The Boeing 737 was rolling down the runway at a slow speed when the window opened and the pilots on board aborted the takeoff, according to CNN.

“The flight crew followed training to safely suspend takeoff following a mechanical issue in the flight deck. We apologize for the delay in travel plans,” Delta Air Lines said in a statement to CNN.

The carrier did not say why or how the window came open.

There were about 150 passengers and six crew members on the plane, according to WCCO-TV in Minneapolis.

The plane was taken by Delta for a maintenance evaluation. The Federal Aviation Administration is looking into the incident, according to the news station.

The passengers ultimately got on a second plane, which took off from Minneapolis just shy of two hours after the original takeoff time, according to FlightAware. It landed in Las Vegas without further issue.
