Four people were injured and one of them was left in critical condition after a car struck three pedestrians and then rolled over in Sacramento, California.
The car driving eastbound on Pocket Road veered off the road at around 6 p.m. local time Thursday and struck a woman and two children on the sidewalk, the Sacramento Police Department told KCRA-TV.
After the initial collision, the woman driving the car suffered a rollover crash, police told KOVR-TV.
None of the people involved were identified by law enforcement. The ages of the two children were also not specified.
All four were taken to area hospitals. The two children and the driver incurred non-life-threatening injuries, while the woman who was on the sidewalk with the children remains in critical condition.
Police are now investigating to determine the cause of the collision and subsequent rollover.
