A United Airlines flight from the Florida Keys to New Jersey was forced to land at Washington Dulles International Airport Thursday after a fire broke out in the cabin.

Flight 1513 took off from Key West International Airport at 2:31 p.m. Thursday and headed for Newark Liberty International Airport, according to FlightAware. Two hours later, it landed at Dulles instead.

The crew decided to divert the plane because of a fire in the cabin, the Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement.  The agency also said it’s investigating the incident.

Specifically, crew members saw smoke vented from a galley oven on the Boeing 737, a United Airlines spokesperson told Fox Business. Such ovens reheat meals on flights.

The passengers deplaned, and United sent a new aircraft to carry them from Dulles to Newark. No passenger or crew injuries were reported.

The new plane drew up at the Newark gate at 10:24 p.m., according to FlightAware, more than five hours after Flight 1513 was originally scheduled to arrive.
