The Biden family gathered to take a photo at Camp David with famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, their first gathering all together since Hunter Biden was convicted of federal gun charges.

The first family took the time to urge President Biden to stay in the presidential race, despite his shaky performance in the debate last week, the New York Times reported.

Hunter Biden, the president’s son, was one of the biggest supporters of not dropping out.

Hunter was convicted of a gun crime last month and could face jail time. He’s also headed to trial on federal tax charges that could result in prison time.

The outlet reported that Hunter Biden wanted Americans to see his father how he sees him — “scrappy and in command of the facts,” and one top Democratic donor placed the blame for Mr. Biden’s poor performance on the advisers who were in charge of his debate preparations.

Mr. Biden’s campaign told The Washington Times on Friday that the president would not be dropping out of the race, despite growing calls for him to do so.

A CNN flash poll of debate watchers found that 57% of voters said they had “no real confidence” in Mr. Biden’s ability to lead the country after his debate performance.
