SWAT teams on Wednesday entered the CIA’s headquarters in Virginia in response to a barricade situation, according to local police.

Fairfax County police said its heavily armed law enforcement crews ventured toward the federal property as officers helped block off Dolley Madison Boulevard outside the agency’s home base in Langley.

Authorities haven’t said what kind of security incident caused the intense response.
