D.C. police arrested and charged a 13-year-old boy with murder Sunday after authorities said the boy fatally stabbed his father in Northwest.

Metropolitan Police said officers arrived around 8 a.m. Sunday at the 3100 block of 16th Street NW, where they found <a href="/topics/travis-dash/">Travis Dash</a>, 41, suffering from puncture wounds.

Police said Mr. <a href="/topics/travis-dash/">Dash</a> died at the scene.

Investigators said Mr. <a href="/topics/travis-dash/">Dash</a> was killed by his 13-year-old son in a domestic incident.

The boy, who was not identified, was charged with second-degree murder while armed.

His next court appearance is scheduled for Thursday morning.
