Will Cain, a co-host of Fox News’s Fox & Friends Weekend, will host a new show on the network that will air at 4 p.m. Eastern, a time slot previously occupied by Your World with Neil Cavuto.

Cain’s show, The Will Cain Show, aims to “innovate” Fox News’s lineup of programming in an evolving media landscape, with Cain bringing his experience as “an accomplished broadcaster and a lawyer” to network viewers, Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott wrote in a statement.

“It has been an honor to wake up with America these past four years, and I am thrilled to apply my background in news, law, entertainment, and business to help our viewers better understand the headlines through thought-provoking content and analysis every weekday afternoon,” Cain stated.

The new show will begin on Jan. 21, ahead of which Cain will make his final co-host appearance on Fox & Friends Weekend on Jan. 18. Charlie Hurt, a Fox News contributor, will replace Cain on the morning weekend show and will relinquish his role as the opinion editor for the Washington Times in taking on his new role with Fox News.

Cain’s new position was met with congratulatory messages from other conservative media hosts on X, including Fox & Friends co-host Lawrence Jones III and talk show host Dan Bongino.

The appointment of Cain to Fox News’s 4 p.m. time slot comes less than a month after Cavuto announced his departure, a decision the former host said he had been planning “for some time.” The network stated it is “extremely proud of his incredible 28-year run with FOX News Media.”

In addition to Cain’s new show, the network announced that the Fox Report, hosted by Jon Scott, and The Big Weekend Show are expanding to a two-hour runtime, with the former show moving to 3 p.m. Eastern and the latter moving to 6 p.m. Meanwhile, Fox Business Network is adding Dagen McDowell to The Big Money Show, which will also expand to two hours from 12 p.m. through 2 p.m. on weekdays.
