The White House has announced a new “LGBTQI+ Community Safety Partnership” through which the federal government will “work hand-in-hand with” LGBT groups “to provide critical safety resources to ensure these organizations can remain safe spaces for the community.”
Among the problems that President Joe Biden’s administration will assist with are “threats” by “hate groups and domestic violent extremists.” The Department of Justice will expand its threat monitoring procedures, and the Department of Homeland Security “will host bi-monthly threat briefings … for LGBTQI+ organizations.”
BIDEN FAMILY BUSINESS NEEDS ITS OWN SPECIAL COUNSEL
The White House’s evidence for “increasing” anti-LGBT extremism is the existence of “cruel and callous” laws that Republican-controlled states have passed.
Do you oppose unscientific, life-altering chemical and surgical procedures for minors, teaching radical gender theory to kindergartners, letting drag queens dance sexually for children, or letting men expose themselves in women’s locker rooms? Despite large swaths of voters, even in deep-blue California, agreeing that they oppose some of these stances, you’re a dangerous right-wing extremist, apparently.
Sure, you might not be violent, but the Biden administration might investigate you for your political or social views. Documents leaked this year showed the FBI wanted to spy on Catholic churches in Virginia by recruiting informants to watch for “the warning signs of radicalization” that may stem from their “traditionalist” beliefs.
Around that time, Catholic churchgoers in Virginia saw drivers in suspicious-looking cars with tinted windows and antennae “drive through the [chapel’s] parking lot as if they were writing down license plate numbers,” the Daily Signal reported.
You also might be tied to “violent extremism” if you use harmless right-wing vernacular such as “based” or “red pill” or believe “that society is corrupt,” according to other FBI documents.
To Biden’s DHS, you might even be a domestic terrorist if you simply question a few things. The agency has issued multiple terror threat bulletins urging neighbors to keep an eye on those who believe COVID-19 measures have gone too far or that voter fraud influenced the 2020 election.
So what exactly will law enforcement and counterterrorism agencies target in the LGBTQI+ Community Safety Partnership? What are the “key indicators of violence” toward LGBT people that the White House says to watch out for? All that is specified as a threat is support for mainstream conservative policy goals.

In reality, Biden’s pervasive demonization of his political opponents is a dangerous catalyst for violence. The North Dakota man who, in a drunken rage, killed a teenager whom he thought was a “Republican extremist” was only echoing the rhetoric that the president had spewed on the national stage just weeks earlier.
This extremist administration, led by someone who has utterly abandoned his campaign promise to unite the country, has no right to decide who the extremists are.
