The Democratic National Convention in Chicago features mobs of antisemitic protesters and scores of police officers on the streets. So which party is it again that has the problem with violence, extremists, and bigots?
In preparation for the DNC, businesses in Chicago’s business district have been boarding up windows in anticipation of protests turning violent as they have on multiple occasions in Chicago (and elsewhere). Protesters have flocked from across the country to march on behalf of antisemitic terrorists in Gaza, with many of the protesters predictably masked.
There are 264 different organizations taking part in the protests, and protest leaders are already threatening to spill out of their permitted zones and make their own protest zones. As Hatem Abudayyeh of the U.S. Palestinian Community Network said, “we have a philosophy in Chicago that the numbers will dictate what the route is.”
For reference, the U.S. Palestinian Community Network labels President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, who have been conciliatory to Hamas demands and are treating Israel as the antagonist in the war, as “war criminals” for not being sufficiently anti-Israel. The USPCN celebrated the Oct. 7 massacre of 1,200 Israeli civilians, which included sexual assaults and hostage-taking, issuing a statement that day calling for “today’s attacks” to be “understood as a legitimate response” to Israel’s “white supremacist” government.
That is the group leading the mass protests, which Democratic politicians such as Biden and Harris have been pandering to in office. They are doing so on behalf of antisemitic terrorists and their propaganda in a war they started with genocidal intentions. All the while, Chicago businesses have boarded up in preparation for when masked hooligans who celebrate violence decide to take part in it, knowing full well that Chicago is run by a soft-on-crime mayor who doesn’t mind rioting and is hosting the convention for a party that let businesses burn during the 2020 riots.

The Jan. 6 riot, as moronic and dangerous as it was, has been saddled around the neck of the GOP by liberal media as proof of the party’s extremism and penchant for violence. All the while, antisemitic protests turned illegal encampments and “racial justice” protests turned violent riots have defined liberal cities and universities for the past several years, courtesy of the Democratic Party’s activist base.
The lawlessness and extremism that liberal media are warning about are coming from the Democratic Party’s progressive activist blob. This has been the case since 2020, and it will continue to be the case as liberal media ignore it and Democratic politicians go out of their way to enable those “activists” to keep their enthusiasm up.
