The View went after Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) on Thursday, calling him a variety of names after reviewing a new interview he did with Fox Nation host Piers Morgan.

"What he does in Florida would never work on the national stage," Sunny Hostin told her co-hosts. "I mean, drag queens can’t read at libraries. There can be no drag shows."

DESANTIS BLASTS TRUMP'S 'CHARACTER' IN WAKE OF STORMY DANIELS HUSH MONEY SCANDAL

"People can just, you know, randomly get guns everywhere," she said. "He is, sort of, attacking our freedoms one by one by one by one."

Joy Behar then accused DeSantis of wanting "to take all learning away from people" despite having "an enormous education" himself.

"Don’t talk about African American history — make everybody ignorant except for him," she said.

Behar eviscerated the Florida governor, calling him a hack with "no core of self" and "no spine."

Several of the hosts agreed that DeSantis was indeed a "flip-flopper."

"He just says whatever is going to get him elected, like a lot of the rest of them who are now kowtowing to dear leader Donald Trump," Behar said. "They will just say anything, do anything to stay in power, and people need to remember that."

Whoopi Goldberg specifically took issue with his claims that he is working to help families. "You have made life harder for many families," she said.

"The truth of the matter is we have an issue in this country, and it has to do with race," Goldberg said. "And kids are going to know it because ... you are trying to hide it."

"You are not ready for America," she said of DeSantis. "You’re not ready for this country yet. Because you haven’t learned that we are a diverse nation."

"He's not ready for the national stage," Hostin said.

In the interview with Morgan, which airs at 8 p.m. on Thursday, DeSantis displayed confidence that he would hold up if he decided to make a bid for the White House. The governor also took swipes at former President Donald Trump's character, whose attacks he has largely been ignoring up until now.
