Howard Stern joked Wednesday about Don Lemon's quick return to CNN This Morning after Lemon made headlines for a remark about 2024 presidential candidate Nikki Haley that some deemed sexist.
“They suspended him for a day, and they sent him right into sensitivity training. And then he came back the next day. He was all cured,” Stern laughed during his SiriusXM radio show.
“I said, 'That’s fantastic! They must have an expert over there,'” he joked.

Lemon made a controversial comment about Haley last week, saying, "Nikki Haley isn't in her prime, sorry. When a woman is considered to be in her prime, in her 20s, and 30s, and maybe 40s."
After receiving backlash, the CNN host apologized for his "inartful and irrelevant" comment. CNN CEO Chris Licht later released a memo, reportedly telling staff that Lemon would remain at the network but undergo "formal training."
Lemon returned to the show Wednesday morning following an absence after he made the remarks on Feb. 16.
Stern continued, “I’ve been in therapy 30 years, I think, and I’m still not cured.”
“I’m just saying, I would like to interview the person who does the training because this person’s a genius,” he said.

“Let me tell you something: I’ve been insensitive my whole life. And, if I could be fixed in a day by this person … I want this person in my life, and so does everybody else,” Stern added.
After his producer noted that the CNN morning show isn't doing well ratingswise, Stern said, "I guess he just tried to pump up the ratings by saying something silly."
