In the letter, the talk show host had told Trump, "Too bad we're not running for office. What a team!"

It was reported last week that Trump would reveal 150 private letters in a new book. Winfrey's letter, sent in 2000, was revealed ahead of time.
The new book, Letters to Trump, comes out on April 25 from Winning Team Publishing.
"I think he'd written a book and said that he wanted me to be his running mate ... if he decided to run," Winfrey tried to recall.
"When I heard that this letter is now going to be a part of a book, I thought, 'Oh, wasn't that nice of me to write a note.' That's what I thought because I'm always like, 'Oh, I should write a note. The person did this, or I should write a note,'" she explained. "So I'm really happy that I wrote a note."
Of her running mate suggestion, she said, "I might have thought it back then. I might have thought it 23 years ago," but she stressed, "I'm not thinking it today."

Discussing the new book, Trump recently claimed that Queen Elizabeth II, Hillary Clinton, Clint Eastwood, Oprah Winfrey, and Michael Jackson used to adore him.
"I knew them all — and every one of them kissed my a**, and now I only have half of them kissing my a**," he said.
