President Joe Biden is hosting Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar for the White House's shamrock presentation ceremony in celebration of St. Patrick's Day.

The shamrock presentation dates back to 1952, and as part of the celebration this year, the White House announced Thursday that Irish singer Niall Horan would be performing.

"It's an honour to be invited and represent my country. Looking forward to performing and celebrating St. Patrick's Day at the White House tomorrow," the former member of the boy band One Direction tweeted Thursday.

The event is expected to begin at 5 p.m., with Vice President Kamala Harris also expected to attend.
