White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is holding a press briefing Monday afternoon.

Jean-Pierre will take questions from reporters at 1:30 p.m. as Vice President Kamala Harris heads into the homestretch of her 2024 presidential campaign against former President Donald Trump.

Jean-Pierre is likely to field questions about reports that the vice president’s campaign has pushed Biden to the sidelines in an effort to distance Harris from some of his unpopular policies.

“Let me be very clear: My presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency,” Harris told voters last Wednesday.
