White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will hold the daily press briefing following President Joe Biden's announcement in which he detailed his administration's plan to invest $42 billion in internet access on Monday.

Earlier in the day, Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris addressed how much money each state, territory, and Washington, D.C., will receive from the Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment program, depending on the number of areas in need of faster internet service. Biden signed a number of internet expansion plans in 2021 through the infrastructure bill.
