


President Donald Trump is making an announcement at the Kennedy Center at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, as the performing arts center prepares to announce its 48th class of honorees.

“The Kennedy Center is honored to host a visit from our Chairman, President Donald J. Trump, tomorrow,” The Kennedy Center posted on X Tuesday evening. “Thanks to his advocacy, our beautiful building will undergo renovations to restore its prestige and grandeur. We are also excited to be announcing this year’s INCREDIBLE slate of Kennedy Center Honorees.”
The Kennedy Center’s annual honors ceremony recognizes artists who have made cultural achievements across their lifetime. The center’s X account teased who it may be honoring this year: “A country music icon, an Englishman, a New York City Rock band, a dance Queen and a multi-billion dollar Actor walk into the Kennedy Center Opera House….”
