


The 2025 NCAA men’s basketball national champion Florida Gators are visiting the White House on Wednesday afternoon.
President Donald Trump will meet with the team around 4 p.m. after head coach Todd Golden confirmed Sunday that his players were heading to Washington.

The visit follows the Gators’ April victory over the Houston Cougars in the national title game, claiming the program’s first NCAA championship since 2007. Trump also met with former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow last month in the Oval Office. The former Heisman Trophy winner and two-time national champion bonded with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, a fellow Florida native and avid Gators fan, while performing the “Gator Chomp” behind the president’s Resolute Desk.
