Former President Donald Trump is holding two rallies in Iowa as his campaign ramps up its efforts in the Hawkeye State ahead of the presidential caucuses on Jan. 15.

Trump's first rally will be at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time from Sioux Center, Iowa, and his second will be at 8:30 p.m. Eastern time from Mason City, Iowa.

The two rallies on Friday are the first of several the former president will do in the Hawkeye State leading up to the first GOP primary contest. He is also slated to hold rallies on Saturday and will appear at a town hall on Fox News on Wednesday. The former president also has various surrogates holding rallies for him across Iowa.

Other Republican candidates, including Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, are also ramping up their efforts ahead of the Iowa caucuses, holding various rallies. Trump maintains a significant lead in the field of Republican candidates in Iowa, per the RealClearPolitics polling average.

President Joe Biden, who will likely be the GOP nominee's opponent in November, held a speech in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, on Friday to mark the third anniversary of the Capitol riot on Jan. 6. Biden has blamed Trump for the riot.
