Former President Donald Trump is holding a news conference at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, his first since rallying supporters during a packed out rally at New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden.

Trump is set to address the media at 10 a.m. He will likely field questions from reporters about a joke a comedian made at his Madison Square Rally about Puerto Ricans, which launched a media firestorm as some critics found it offensive.

Making brief remarks at the rally, where roughly 75,000 people waited in overflow outside the venue, former first lady Melania Trump made a rare appearance to support her husband.
