Former President Donald Trump is holding a campaign rally in traditionally blue New Mexico less than a week before Election Day.

The former president is expected to begin his rally in the Land of Enchantment at 2 p.m.

Trump is visiting two states rated as “lean Democrat” by the Cook Political Report in the closing week of the campaign, with his rally in Albuquerque on Thursday and Salem, Virginia, on Saturday. Neither Virginia nor New Mexico has voted for a Republican presidential candidate since 2004, when then-President George W. Bush was reelected.

The rally in New Mexico is Trump’s first in the state during the 2024 cycle, with his most recent campaign rally in the state happening in September 2019.
