


Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) will sit with Gov. Kim Reynolds (R-IA) on Tuesday during her "fair-side chats" at the Iowa State Fair.
Scott is one of several 2024 GOP presidential candidates visiting the Iowa State Fair to talk to voters through a soapbox appearance and speak with Reynolds about their hopes for the presidency in 2024.

Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson will also speak with Reynolds on Tuesday.
Candidates who have attended Reynolds's conversations at the fair include former Vice President Mike Pence, Vivek Ramaswamy, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL).
A poll from July shows Trump leading the Republican field in Iowa with 46%, followed by DeSantis in second with 16% and Scott in third at 11%.

The South Carolina senator has funneled millions of dollars into advertising in the Hawkeye State and other GOP battleground states as he seeks to boost his numbers in the primary.
Scott's fair-side chat with Reynolds will begin at 11:45 Eastern time at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines.
