The House <a class="Link" href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/house/house-passes-45-day-continuing-resolution-hours-shutdown" target="_blank">passed</a> the continuing resolution 335-91, with nearly all Democrats and most Republicans supporting the bill, leaving it up to the Senate to pass the bill to avert a shutdown on Oct. 1.
