<span class="ArticlePage-articleBody-firstLetter">P</span>resident<a class="Link" href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/tag/joe-biden" target="_blank"> Joe Biden</a> delivered remarks at the <a class="Link" href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/tag/white-house" target="_blank">White House</a> Tribal Nations Summit on Wednesday afternoon, ahead of a new executive order that will make it easier for <a class="Link" href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/tag/native-americans" target="_blank">Native Americans</a> to receive federal funding. 

The new executive order will also give tribal nations more power in how those funds will be invested. He will additionally support a request for Native tribes to compete in the Lacrosse event in the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles under their own banner.
