


Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh will hold a briefing Tuesday afternoon, on the latest in the Israel-Hamas war, and ahead of President Joe Biden's expected visit to the region on Wednesday.
The war, which began on Oct. 7, has killed at least 4,000 people on both sides, including 30 Americans. There are currently 13 Americans still missing.

Biden will visit Israel and Jordan this week, where he will reiterate Israel's right to self-defense and learn more about how it will minimize civilian casualties. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has also announced that the U.S. and Israel agreed to get humanitarian aid to residents in the Gaza Strip with the stipulation it won't help Hamas.
