


Principal White House deputy press secretary Olivia Dalton will hold a press briefing aboard Air Force One on Wednesday.
This will be around the ninth time that Dalton has engaged with reporters aboard the aircraft since moving to the White House last summer.

Dalton works under White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and could serve as a potential successor to Jean-Pierre if or when she decides to step away.
The press conference comes as President Joe Biden continues pushing his 2024 reelection campaign, most recently touting his administration's success in what they call "Bideonmics." He will give an address on his economic plan at 1 p.m. EDT.

Biden has received backlash from Republicans and opponents after his son, Hunter Biden, entered a plea deal with the Justice Department on charges relating to failure to pay taxes and felony gun possession. The president and first lady Jill Biden are standing by their son, the White House has said.
The press briefing will begin at 10:15 a.m. EDT on Wednesday.
