Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is set to appear at a town hall event in Exeter, New Hampshire, as she continues her campaign for the Republican presidential nomination.

Haley, who is the only woman in the GOP race for president so far, has touted her strong foreign affairs background from her time as the United States ambassador to the United Nations during the Donald Trump administration. She served as the governor of South Carolina from 2011 to 2017.

Haley has also focused her campaign on securing the U.S. border with Mexico, stopping the illegal flow of fentanyl into the U.S., and strengthening U.S. ties with allies. She also called for a "new generation" of leaders in U.S. politics.

The event in Exeter is expected to begin at 6:30 p.m.
