Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey is giving a press conference after a gunman opened fire at Minnesota’s Annunciation Church on Wednesday morning.

The press conference is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m.

Shortly after the shooting, Frey said he was in close contact with Minneapolis Police Department Chief Brian O’Hara and that the city’s “emergency response team has been activated.”

SHOOTING REPORTED AT MINNEAPOLIS ANNUNCIATION CHURCH

An all-school Mass began at 8:15 a.m. local time, according to Annunciation Church’s calendar, and reports of the shooting began at around 8:30 a.m. The shooter was reported neutralized shortly before 9:30 a.m. local time.
