Gov.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/tag/kristi-noem/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Kristi Noem</a>&nbsp;(R-SD), President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee to head the <a href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/tag/department-of-homeland-security/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Department of Homeland Security</a>, will appear before the Senate Homeland Security Committee for a confirmation hearing Friday morning.
