Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is holding a press conference in Los Angeles amid the first major riots of President Donald Trump’s second term.

The press conference is set to begin at 1:45 p.m.

Riots began on Friday in response to ICE raids in the city. Trump was quick with a federal response, deploying 2,000 National Guard troops to the city on Sunday. This was followed by the deployment of about 700 Marines of the 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division to Los Angeles, followed by another 2,000 National Guard troops on Monday.

The past two nights have seen somewhat decreased activity following the deployment and imposition of a curfew.
