White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt is holding her first White House press briefing since two aircraft collided near Washington D.C. Wednesday evening, killing 67 people.

The briefing is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. from the executive mansion and comes after President Donald Trump addressed reporters in the briefing room about the crisis on Thursday.

Leavitt is likely to be pressed on Trump’s suggestion that the Federal Aviation Administration’s push for diversity, equity, and inclusion measures may have led to lower air safety standards, contributing to the disaster.

Concerns have also arisen that staffing shortages with air traffic controllers may have contributed to the disaster as the investigation into the crash continues. Two black boxes, which contain the flight data recorder and the cockpit voice recorder, were recovered from the downed aircraft Thursday and could help investigators unravel the mystery.
