


White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt is holding a press briefing Thursday at 1 p.m.
It will be Leavitt’s first press briefing since President Donald Trump decided to strike Iran over the weekend.

Earlier in the day, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth held a news conference in which he scolded the media for suggesting the strikes were unsuccessful based on a leaked preliminary report.

Trump praised Hegseth’s news conference in a post on Truth Social.
“One of the greatest, most professional, and most ‘confirming’ News Conferences I have ever seen!” Trump said. “The Fake News should fire everyone involved in this Witch Hunt, and apologize to our great warriors, and everyone else!”
