Harris made headlines last week when she <a class="Link" href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/white-house/harris-attacks-extremists-florida-after-desantis-education-fight" target="_blank">went after</a> Florida education officials for standards in its African American history curriculum, which included a line about how enslaved people may have learned skills which they could use for their benefit, despite the horrors of slavery.
