Vance</a> (R-OH), the Republican vice presidential nominee, is holding a <a href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/tag/2024-elections" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="campaign rally">campaign rally</a> in his hometown of Middletown, <a href="https://washingtonexaminer.com/tag/ohio" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="Ohio">Ohio</a>.

Vance’s rally in the Buckeye State is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. EDT.

It will be Vance’s first solo rally after he was selected to be former President Donald Trump’s running mate. Vance appeared alongside Trump at a Michigan rally on Saturday.

The Ohio senator’s rally comes a day after President Joe Biden, who was the presumptive Democratic nominee, dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to take his spot on the top of the ticket.
