H.R. 1 has 153 amendments related to energy, including one that would "amend the Department of Energy Organization Act to secure the supply of critical energy resources, including critical minerals and other materials," an amendment that would prohibit a moratorium on hydraulic fracking, and an official expression of disapproval regarding Biden's revocation of the Keystone XL pipeline.
