


The House Judiciary Committee is holding a hearing in Chicago, Illinois, called "Victims of Violent Crime in Chicago."
The hearing is slated to begin at 9 a.m., and the focus of the hearing will be Chicago District Attorney Kim Foxx and her policies, which the committee says "are leading to an increase in violent crime and a dangerous community for Chicago residents."

Gianno Caldwell, whose family member was murdered in Chicago, and two retired Chicago police offices, John Garrido III and Carlos Yanez Jr., are slated testify.
Foxx has been a popular target for conservatives, especially after presiding over the infamous Jussie Smollett hate crime hoax, which was contrasted with the way she handled other more severe crimes.
