House Republican leadership is holding a press conference as it aims to pass a megabill featuring several of President Donald Trump’s top agenda items in the coming weeks.

The press conference is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA), House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN), House Republican Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain (R-MI), and House Small Business Committee Chairman Roger Williams (R-TX) are expected to speak.

Johnson said Monday he hopes to have the bill done by Memorial Day or “shortly thereafter,” while other leaders have stated a July 4 deadline is more realistic.
