


Follow live as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gives a press conference to defend B-2 bomber pilots’ “dignity” after an intelligence leak suggested the pilots’ attack on Iranian nuclear sites only set the country’s nuclear program back by months.
“Secretary of Defense (War!) Pete Hegseth, together with Military Representatives, will be holding a Major News Conference tomorrow morning at 8 A.M. EST at The Pentagon, in order to fight for the Dignity of our Great American Pilots,” President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social on Wednesday afternoon in announcing the briefing.

“These Patriots were very upset! After 36 hours of dangerously flying through Enemy Territory, they landed, they knew the Success was LEGENDARY, and then, two days later, they started reading Fake News by CNN and The Failing New York Times. They felt terribly!” Trump added.
HEGSETH ANNOUNCES INTELLIGENCE LEAK INVESTIGATION AS PENTAGON HIT WITH MORE CONTROVERSY
Hegseth said at the NATO summit Wednesday that there would be an investigation into the leak, which the administration has disputed, with a Defense Intelligence Agency official telling the Washington Examiner that the agency is “working with the FBI and other authorities to investigate the unauthorized disclosure of classified information.”
Hegseth is scheduled to begin speaking at 8 a.m.
