<span class="ArticlePage-articleBody-firstLetter">F</span>ormer President <a class="Link" href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/tag/trump" target="_blank">Donald Trump</a> is speaking at a rally in Iowa after the <a class="Link" href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/tag/colorado" target="_blank">Colorado</a> Supreme Court <a class="Link" href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/policy/courts/colorado-supreme-court-trump-disqualified-presidency" target="_blank">ruled</a> that he is ineligible to be reelected president. 

The ruling was stayed until early January to give the U.S. <a class="Link" href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/tag/supreme-court" target="_blank">Supreme Court</a> time to weigh in on the matter. Trump is speaking at a Team Trump event in Waterloo, Iowa, according to Right Side Broadcasting Network.

The rally is Trump's first public appearance after the news out of Colorado.
