Former New Jersey Gov. and Republican presidential hopeful Chris Christie is holding a town hall in Hollis, New Hampshire, on Thursday, just under three weeks before the state's Republican primary.

Christie is hoping for a strong finish in the Granite State, where he currently polls in third place behind former President Donald Trump and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, according to RealClearPolitics. Christie has garnered 10.5% of the Republican vote in New Hampshire, putting him ahead of Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), who is in fourth in the state with 9.5%.

The former governor is polling in fifth place for the Republican nomination overall, with 3.3% of the Republican vote nationally. Political newcomer and GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is polling in fourth nationally, according to RealClearPolitics.

The 2024 presidential election season will begin with the Iowa caucuses on Jan. 15, followed by the New Hampshire primary on Jan. 23. South Carolina and Nevada will have their Republican primaries in February.
