


President Joe Biden is addressing the nation from the Oval Office on Thursday night to show support for Israel nearly two weeks after Hamas launched terrorist attacks on the region.

Biden is expected to ask Congress for $100 billion in foreign aid that will include money for Israel and Ukraine. The president also announced on Wednesday that the United States will send $100 million in humanitarian aid to Gaza and the West Bank.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed during a meeting with Biden that any aid from Israel to Gaza will be blocked until the hostages are returned but that Israel won't block aid into the Gaza Strip from Egypt.
