President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are placing a wreath at the Pentagon to honor the 64 people on American Airlines Flight 77 and 125 people in the Pentagon who were killed during the terrorist attacks 23 years ago.

Biden and Harris were in New York City this morning at Ground Zero, as was former President Donald Trump, to pay respects to those killed after terrorists crashed into the World Trade Center.

The president and vice president also visited Shanksville, Pennsylvania, to observe the Flight 93 memorial, where 40 passengers died after stopping the terrorists who hijacked the plane from reaching its intended target in Washington, D.C. Trump is also expected to visit the memorial.
