


Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines will testify in front of the Senate Armed Service Committee Thursday.
Haines will speak about worldwide threats facing the intelligence community. Defense Intelligence Agency Director Lt. Gen. Scott Berrier will also be testifying in front of the committee.

The top U.S. intelligence official testified in front of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence hearing for the Annual Threat Assessment of the U.S. Intelligence Community last month as well. In her testimony, Haines spoke on the national security challenges that China, Russia, Iran and North Korea pose, as well as issues such as terrorism, climate change and new technologies.
The committee hearing is scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m.
