


Secretary of State Antony Blinken will deliver remarks on artificial intelligence and the State Department's development goals on Monday.
The State Department's use of AI is part of a larger effort by the Biden administration to use AI throughout the federal government. The State Department’s Center for Analytics, led by Chief Data Officer Matthew Graviss, is developing the AI strategy, according to Federal News Network.

Blinken's goal for the State Department is to modernize U.S. democracy by using AI for diplomatic relations in foreign policy, as well as for declassification work, per the outlet.
The Senate hosted top tech executives including Twitter CEO Elon Musk and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg last week to discuss a legislative approach to regulating AI.
