NextImg:WATCH: Kellyanne Conway says Obama's 'hope and change' is now 'moan and groan' with Biden

Former White House counselor Kellyanne Conway said President Joe Biden is risking former President Barack Obama’s legacy.

“This is the man who gave us ‘hope’ and ‘change,’” Conway told Jesse Watters Primetime, referencing Obama’s 2008 and 2012 campaign slogans. “Now he’s just moan and groan.”

BIDEN’S DEBT GAMES ARE ALL PLAYED OUT

Conway suggested that Obama is worried about his legacy, given Biden's low approval ratings.

“Obama worries about his legacy because Biden’s president. And he should be worried about it because Trump had a higher growth rate, more energy independence. These trade deals. You know, the Trump record on Iran and Israel is so much better, staring down Putin, containing Kim Jong Un. And he is worried about that — one,” Conway said. “And he’s worried about — two — that his first decision was to pick a running mate, and he picked Joe Biden. We’re still stuck with him.”

“He’s the guy that said, 'Joe, you don’t need to do this. Don’t run.’ Now that Joe Biden has run and he has Kamala Harris on the ticket, I think that’s a rescue and recovery mission in 2024 that maybe even Barack Obama cannot steer to success,” Conway added. “So he’s got to worry about that.”

In April, Biden announced he would seek a second term as president in a prerecorded video. At the age of 80, Biden is already the oldest commander in chief after former President Ronald Reagan, who departed the White House in 1989 at 77.

In March, Biden’s approval rating dipped to a near low for his presidency amid a banking crisis, high inflation, and foreign policy circumstances that have even created disagreement among Democrats.

“Not only did Biden give us Harris, but Obama gave us Biden,” Conway said.
