Joy Behar claimed Republicans can't "win in any elections anymore in this country — not national elections" on Thursday's episode of The View, adding that "all they do is tricks."
The show began by discussing the news that Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Janet Protasiewicz was elected to the Wisconsin Supreme Court on Tuesday, giving the court a liberal majority. It was reported that young voters, in particular, gave Protasiewicz an edge.

"This is the beginning of the end of the Republican Party as I see it," Behar said. "They are on the wrong side."
"These kids were born in 1997 — not 1897, which is where the Republican Party is going," she said of Generation Z voters. "They're like 'Hey, whoa, hold up, I don’t want to get killed in school. I don't want to, you know, be in the middle of another tornado or whatever the hell is going on in this country.' All I hear about are tornadoes all the time. Is that climate change?"
The 80-year-old host added, "They don’t want it. They want their abortion rights, just in case."
She claimed, "The only way the Republican Party fights against this is to raise the voting age, stop people from voting."
Republican Alyssa Farah Griffin told her co-hosts, "We were the party of opportunity for everyone. You could come from any background, and with the right, you know, opportunities and working hard, you could get anywhere. But now, we fall into this trap — all we talk about is what we are against, not what we're for."
She added that Gen Z, regardless of party, is focused on "dealing with gun violence in this country, addressing climate change, and supporting the LGBTQ+ community."
To Republicans, she said, "It’s not enough. You have to realize the country is changing and you can still have the core small-government values. But you cannot make it where you are so out of touch with your voters and the direction its going or you're a losing ... party."
Sunny Hostin chimed in, adding that "the Republican Party is the party of dinosaurs."

She claimed the party doesn't have any platform or proposals, only "grievance politics — it's just scaring people."
"The only way to get it when you don’t have a platform is by cheating," Hostin said. "And so that’s when you see the gerrymandering. That's when you see people on college campuses being prevented from using their college ID to vote. I mean, they are actually attacking young voters rather than trying to recruit young voters."
