WASHINGTON, D.C. — As we hit the one-year anniversary of the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, Washington Examiner attended the Faith and Freedom Coalition: Road to Majority conference in Washington, D.C., to get reactions from people about what the decision means for them personally and the 2024 election.

“My core values are the same values that this country was founded on,” said American entrepreneur and presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. “God is real. Unborn life is life. I speak the truth. I do it without apology.”

“We feel this is so important to protecting the unborn,” said Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA). While she is celebrating the Dobbs anniversary, she says there is still work to be done.

“One policy I disagree with is the Department of Defense policy to pay for travel for service members or dependents to receive abortions, and allow them extra time off of work,” Ernst says, adding that she is pushing back. “I'm running various amendments on the floor of the Senate. We have to protect life. The DOD has a war on the unborn, and we shouldn't allow it.”
