A video of a male Disney employee with a mustache dressed as a “fairy godmother’s apprentice” has created a storm of ire — including from Fox News host Jesse Watters, who suggested he be called “CinderFella.”
“That’s not Cinderella. It’s CinderFella,” Watters said in reaction to the video that has now gone viral across social media.
"So my name is Nick. I am one of the fairy godmother’s apprentices," the employee said while welcoming a girl into Disneyland’s Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Anaheim, California. “I’m here to shop you around and make all your selections for the day."
The video was posted to TikTok by Kourtni Faber, a mother who documented her family’s trip to the theme park. The video has received nearly 8 million views as of Wednesday morning.
“Disney’s reimagining the princess look,” Watters said during his show, Jesse Watters Primetime. “Disney now likes a princess with a mustache.”
“Mommy, Daddy, why does that princess have chest hair?” Watters suggested as a question children could ask. “Well, little Susie, that’s not Cinderella. It’s CinderFella. And that size 11 glass slipper, it shatters.”
Watters went on to slam Disney for promoting princess makeovers to boys as well.
“It’s what Walt would have wanted,” Watters mocked. “The Magic Kingdom, where they wave a wand and your son’s testosterone disappears.”
The video has also gone viral across Twitter, gathering backlash from conservative critics.
“This is disgusting and wrong,” Jenna Ellis, an adviser to former President Donald Trump, tweeted. “I remember when the ‘Disney Look’ didn’t even let women wear certain nail polish colors. Now THIS?!”

I remember when the “Disney Look” didn’t even let women wear certain nail polish colors. Now THIS?! https://t.co/WFqSBHB7Yz
“What’s particularly interesting about this is how intentional it is,” conservative commentator Dave Rubin posted. “Think how many real girls want that job at Disney and they gave it to him for a reason.”
What’s particularly interesting about this is how intentional it is. This is a dude with a mustache in a dress. Not a “trans” person. Think how many real girls want that job at Disney and they gave it to him for a reason…

Others came to the defense of the Disney employees, calling him “harmless.”
