Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) said President Joe Biden’s approach to foreign policy is the “weakest form of America” he can imagine.
While speaking with Fox News’s Trey Gowdy, Crenshaw suggested Biden’s foreign policy is “deeply confused” and “dangerously naive.”

“They’re naive because they like to say, ‘Peace through strength.’ Their foreign policy is basically encompassed by slogans, and it’s things like, ‘Peace through strength.’ ‘I want peace, not war,’” Crenshaw said. “Well, congratulations. Isn’t that nice for you? Here’s the thing, you can’t forget about strength part.”
Crenshaw said the Trump administration understood how decisive action and strategic rhetoric displayed strength and prevented Russia from attacking Ukraine at that time.
“Now our side, our populist Right, or the ‘America First-ers’ — they say that is warmongering,” Crenshaw said. “So, let me get this straight, supporting our allies is warmongering? That is the weakest form of America I could ever imagine.”

“And by the way, it will end up with a world that [is] run by Iran, China, Russia, and North Korea because they will figure out rather quickly that they can do whatever they want,” Crenshaw added. “That’s America last. Your way of life will not be good for the next 100 years if you think that is America first.”
Crenshaw noted that while the Republican Party is divided, a U.S. presence is needed around the world to maintain “good national defense.”
