Voters are giving Attorney General Pam Bondi‘s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal a thumbs-down and remain split on her overall performance as President Donald Trump’s top law enforcement officer.

In the latest Rasmussen Reports survey shared with Secrets, 33% gave Bondi’s handling of the Epstein case a good to excellent grade. Another 54% rated her fair to poor, and 14% said they were “unsure.”

Despite that failing grade, more likely voters than not — 42% to 36% — approved of her job as the top Justice Department official. Her approval rating is down just one point since April.

And by a 39% to 31% margin, voters don’t want the president to fire her, said Rasmussen.

Bondi has been at the center of a raging debate over releasing details about Epstein, who committed suicide in jail in 2019 after being convicted of sex trafficking for the rich and famous.

While Trump had promised during his 2024 campaign to release internal documents on the case, Bondi recently shut the door to that offer and also threw cold water on several conspiracies by confirming that Epstein killed himself and that there was no “client list.”

Since then, several top Trump supporters have called on Bondi to reverse course, and now she has offered to do more, including ordering a top aide to interview Epstein’s convicted accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell.
