UFC Hall of Famer and Russian superstar Khabib Nurmagomedov laughed off the idea that there are more than two genders while explaining his first experience with America's transgender culture.
"Only woman and man," the former undefeated and undisputed UFC lightweight champion told entrepreneur and host Patrick Bet-David.

Bet-David had explained to Nurmagomedov that America has a "few hundred genders" and asked how many genders there are in Russia.
"There is no between," the former champion laughingly said as the audience applauded. "This is crazy."
"It's like, first time in my life, a couple of weeks ago, I was in California in a coffee shop," he added. "I really wanted to go to the bathroom."
Nurmagomedov explained that after he was given permission to use the coffee shop's facilities, he was met with a confusing choice of restrooms.
"Two bathrooms, all-gender, all-gender. I was, like, what is this? Where do I have to go?" he told Bet-David. "First time I see this, I stared like five seconds. I was, like, where is woman? Where is man?"
Nurmagomedov then knocked on the door to see if anybody was inside before going in, he said.
Transgenderism in America is very different than in his home of Dagestan, a rural mountainous area of Russia.
"I grew up in a very traditional place, in a very traditional family," he said. "I am very happy with this. I am from big mountains, and we have only two genders."

Bet-David jokingly warned that ideas including the traditional family and two genders could get the former champion in trouble in America.
"I have to be careful," Nurmagomedov joked.
